Andrew Brandeis, ND
Dr. Andrew Brandeis is a physician who co-founded a personalized nutrition company but spends most of his time telling people what not to eat. He is also a painter, musician, yogi, husband, and father, though not necessarily in that order and definitely not at the same time. He avoids seed oils because he's read the studies, and plastic because he values his endocrine system.
He believes sugar is what adults give children when they've run out of ideas, that butter is a food group, and that the most important things about medicine are the things no one is allowed to say. Most of what we're told was written by someone selling cereal.
He has worked inside the healthcare industry long enough to know where the bodies are buried and who sold the shovels. He lives with his family and a growing collection of opinions about processed foods, none of which he keeps to himself. He is currently waiting to be abducted by aliens because Earth's drama has become repetitive and poorly written. Pillars is his first novel.
